For the 2007 to 2010 Edge, the low beam headlight is the H1.

The 2017 to 2020 headlights of the Edge use the H11.

High Beam Headlights

How to Turn Off Daytime Running Lights on a Ford Edge

Daytime running lights are an invaluable safety feature. You can turn them off by doing the following;

1. Press your parking brake slightly until it clicks once.
2. Locate the power distribution box in your vehicle.
3. Remove the “DRL” fuse from the power distribution box.
4. Thoroughly check all electrical systems in your vehicle.
5. Pull the negative or ground wire that leads to the bulbs for the DRLs.
6. Turn the “Dome Override” button on and off twice.

How Do You Adjust the Light on a Ford Edge?

• Place your car on a flat surface (preferably in front of a white wall, about 3–4 meters from the wall ).
• Check your tire pressure to ensure the tires are inflated properly.
• Turn on your headlights and make a cross-shaped mark (one horizontal and one vertical section) in the middle of the beam that will be projected on the wall.
• Check with a level that both parts of the cross are straight. Then, back your car up to a distance of between 7 and 10 meters.
• Open the Ford Edge’s hood, locate the screws for horizontal and vertical adjustments of the headlights.
• Use a cloth to hide the projector on which you are not making the adjustment.
• Use the screws to make the horizontal adjustment.
• Regarding vertical change, use the screw position at the upper end of the beam at the level of the horizontal marking on the wall, or slightly below.
• Once finished, check that the headlight setting of your Edge is correct.

How Do I Turn Off the Lights On a Ford Edge?

The Dome/Interior Light Isn’t Working

• The Fuses: Check the fuse that controls the dome lights. If it is a blown fuse, replace it. Ford used non-standard fuses, so look for the right fuse for replacement.
• Dome Light Bulb: If you come to find both the dimmer switch and fuses are not the issue, you might need to replace the bulb in your dome light.
• Check Relay: If none of the aforementioned tips applied, investigate your relays.

Ford Edge Light Sensors

The Edge light sensor works by detecting changes in the surrounding light or even lightning in a zone around your vehicle.
