Currently, production of the Ford GT supercar takes place at an assembly facility in Ontario, Canada. In the past, Ford produced separate parts of the GT at various plants in the United States.
For example, production and assembly of the GT occurred in Norwalk, Ohio, while painting took place at a factory in Troy, Michigan.

The plant hand-builds the GT models before shipping them to the United States for sale.
Ford used to produce GTs in the US but stopped after the model’s first generation (2004-2006).
